Why am I losing stats

I can understand why hit is changing but not sure why we are losing stats like crit and haste both were over 35% or more before now its in single numbers.

I know its early but when we made the jump from bc to lk it felt like I was getting more powerfull with every level and gear upgrade. Now I fell weaker with every lv to 85 and equiping newer items seam to have no effect on my dps.


It is a new expansion.

Think of it as starting over.

We all have the crappiest gear possible for 85 right now becuase the expansion just released. They had to provide room to grow for over a year of upgrades and new content and new gear that will be coming in your future.

Technically speaking: it takes more crit, haste, hit rating to = 1% at lvl 85 than at 80.
Furthermore, Blizzard admitted that they did things wrong in wotlk. They set the rating requirements for each stat too low, which is why we had obscenely high crit and haste percentages and such. This is how they're fixing it, they need to leave room for us to grow in this xpac, but since they made the mistake in wotlk they need to right it, so it will feel like (and in many cases will actually be) we're getting weaker as we level from 80-85.

It's unfortunate, but necessary or we'd all be at 100% haste, crit, hit pretty darn quickly.
I dont mind getting my crit bashed but 17% hit is retarded.
From what I hear all classes have reduced crit chance compared to before. Also if you look at new tier gear you will notice that the dps sets only have crit on 1 or 2 pieces. So I think blizzard wants us to have to work more for crit chance then we are used to.
