fireball vs. frostfire bolt

hello mages,

first off for a fire mage which is better fireball or frostfire bolt?

also looking for general mage tips, i leveled this mage a little while back to go through the old world lore again before cata. but now my rl friends are planing out what we are going to be for cat and i ended up being slotted as a dps with cc (thinking my mage or leveling my 75 lock).


feel free to critique my spec(s) atm my main spec is something i am playing with for trash or add heavy fights and my secondary is what i am looking at for single target/possible lite pvp.
FFB won't be as good as fireball until a few bugs are fixed. But you could use either and not notice too huge a difference.

I'm gonna point out that you have an atrocious amount of spirit, which gives you zero benefit. Seriously. Spirit as about as good for mages as agility.
i know my gearing isn't best haven't played this char sense august and even with spirit it was better then questing gear.
