Flame Orb and Hotstreak?

[:1]Is it just me or does flame orb cause hotstreak to not proc?

I was doing Omnitron Defense Council tonight and I had a ton of scorch crits on the move with flame orb critting as well. Ignite was proccing as it should, but i wasn't getting any Hotstreak procs, has anyone else noticed this? Or perhaps it was me missing a scorch crit somewhere in all the midst of flame orb crits.
