Why did Method use Arcane mages?

[:1]In their Sinestra kill. Not enough space in the title. I was under the impression that fire is better for raiding, does that change at higher gear levels?
Perhaps encounter is difficult enough that their brains have only enough space for a 1-button press for DPS.
They probably just didn't have the 3% damage buff. This is a good reason to bring an arcane mage, especially if there isn't too much movement in the fight. I don't know if there's a lot of movement though in Sinestra's fight, we couldn't see it that much in Paragon's vid except with orbs, and it's the only vid I've seen so far.
I could see a number of reasons....but the only ones I can think of that are unique to arcane are focus magic and arcane tactics....maybe I should read up on the fight....maybe I can see something battle tactic wise...
Read up on it...I really still don't see a big reason other than maybe having the ability just instant slow a target...though it does make me curious considering method has 2 arcane mages and paragon had one....wonder what it is...
Um... why are we arguing about what spec is more difficult? It is silly. Whatever your reason for your spec, I hope you are having fun and taking names!
there 2 possible reasons

1.the shear burst dps that can be delt with arcane is insane and can be used in advantage like having 3-4 arcane mages Pop All of there cds and just do a continous burn cycle can make a diffrence in 25 mans because of the buffs on said target if u had 4 of em going at once were talking 75K-105k abs Reateadly from 4 diffrent sources it can make the diffrence regaurdless of the mages going oom.

2.they wanted the focus magic for healers/top dps along with arcane tatics

Thanks, that makes a lot of sense, I appreciate it. :)
Oh nice haha I didn't realize we were on the same server. I miss that from the old forum how it would show it next to somebody's character portrait.
Find it odd that would be their reason without making all of them go arcane...rather than just some...
